Covered CA Seminar for Small Businesses

You're invited to join Al Muratsuchi and local chambers of commerce at an informational seminar on Covered California's Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) to learn how you can prepare for implementation of the federal Affordable Care Act. Though California small businesses are not required to provide health insurance for their employees, Covered California's SHOP program gives employers more options and tools to help them offer coverage.

A presentation and Q&A session will be provided by Marcia Davalos of Small Business Majority. Small Business Majority is a national advocacy group that conducts scientific research on the issues and needs of small business owners.

This seminar is open to the public but small business owners are highly encouraged to attend as the information provided will focus primarily on SHOP. Space is limited. Please RSVP.
